The Special Competitive Studies Project (SCSP) hosted today the Quad Technology, Business, and Investment Forum (QTBIF) in San Francisco on the margins of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Summit. Quad leaders announced in May 2023 that the United States would host the QTBIF in Fall 2023.
“We appreciate SCSP’s support in hosting an event that brought together key government and industry stakeholders from across the Quad to deepen discussions about how we can work together to advance the technology priorities that Quad leaders have laid out for our nations,” said NSC Senior Director for Technology and National Security Tarun Chhabra.
During the QTBIF discussions, representatives from the public and private sectors of Quad nations met to consider novel technology innovations occurring in the Quad and to explore practical areas of cooperation in critical technology areas.
“It was a privilege for SCSP to host this QTBIF event and to support our Quad partners in identifying areas where increased cooperation can ensure that the United States, Australia, India, and Japan remain global leaders at the frontiers of technological innovation that advances our national security and economic prosperity. We look forward to continuing to help the Quad in these efforts,” said SCSP President and CEO Ylli Bajraktari.
